Recent Purchases

I received this wool in the mail today. It's a custom dye job from Jolly Jumbuck - Black Rainbow - been lusting this colourway for a while! I got two skeins of Apollo.

This is fabric I bought from the op shop yesterday - I'm going to make a Wired Up Design knitting tote out of it. I'm going to do a brown inner.

And this is my first side of my brea bag - but it's too small! I didn't read the pattern and only used one strand of yarn - not too. I hate to frog it, but don't know if I'll be bothered to knit the rest to make a small bag for Emma or something. I have to reball my wool now so I can knit two strands at a time.

Dyed This Up Yesterday

Again I don't think many people read this blog so feel safe putting it up here. It's Bendigo Wool Mills 8ply. Was a very light yellow and white variegated - dyed it up to Autumn Colours - it's for my Woolaholics Cable Swap. I'm knitting this:

Something Special

I just put this in the post today for someone special. Pretty sure she doesn't read my blog - and even if she does she isn't expecting it! I hope she likes it. The wool is so pretty I had trouble giving it up. Will have to dye another batch up for me!

Pay It Forward

From the gorgeous Bec's! Its my turn! :)

The first three people to comment on this post will receive a gift from me, sometime within the next 365 days. Who knows when it will turn up, or what it will be, but rest assured, it will arrive. All you have to do is promise to make the same declaration on your blog, and send out gifts to three of your lovely readers. Easy Peasy.

My Sewing Room!

From the top:
My Embroidery Machine (mind the fruit bowl - it's sitting on a cupboard in the dining/family room)
Sewing Room - in the corner is our filing cabinet, then my scrap bins, cottons, and then my desk - with overlocker and sewing machine on it.
In the cupboard - boxes of fabric - from the bottom - bamboo, hemp jersey, MM, next box is cottons, next is knits, next is flannelette, in the box if hemp, and cream flannelette. Hanging up is outfits by Theresa.
Next pic is my embroidery stuff, and my instocks (not much there at present cause they're all waiting to be snapped).
Next pic is more boxes of fabric - fleece, and flannelette. A green bag full of nappies to be snapped, and a roll of white suedecloth.
Last pic is a better pic of my desk. The nappies on the floor are AIO's (a bulk pack) I have just put elastic in.

Bulk Pack Finished!

I just finished my first Baker's Dozen of AIO's!

It included two applique's - the sun one posted a few days ago, and this cute ducky!
